This Privacy Policy describes how private, personal applications authorized under my Google account collect, use, and protect information. These tools are strictly private utilities built and operated by Matthew Altenburg.
1. Access to Google User Data
Select private applications may access Google account data only after explicit OAuth authorization by the user. This access is strictly requested for the purpose of facilitating the private functionalities of the specific tool (such as indexing or internal search utilities).
2. Purpose and Use of Data
The exclusive purpose of accessing this data is to enable the personal application's functionality for the authorized account owner. The data is processed solely to fulfill these intended private features.
3. Data Storage and Protection
User data, metadata, and any derived information may be stored on private, secure infrastructure controlled directly by the account owner. Appropriate technical and operational security measures are in place to protect this data from unauthorized access.
4. Strict Data Non-Sharing Policy
To comply with Google's API Services User Data Policy and core privacy principles, we explicitly state that:
- Google user data is never sold.
- Google user data is never used for advertising purposes.
- Google user data is not shared with or transferred to any unrelated third parties. Data remains strictly within the private infrastructure required to run the tool.
5. Revoking Access
You can revoke application access to your Google account at any time. To do this, visit your Google Account's security settings (https://myaccount.google.com/permissions) and remove access for the respective application. Once revoked, the application will no longer be able to fetch or interact with new data.
6. Google API Services User Data Policy Compliance
The use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere strictly to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
