As a Lead Researcher within the Southern Cross AI community, I am helping build Australia's sovereign artificial intelligence capability. A major focus is the JoeyLLM project, where we are training models like Baby Joey and Little Joey on a massive 1.3 trillion token dataset covering Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and the UK.
